“If you touch me, I will fall in love with you. I say this quite earnestly, so know that you have been warned. It wouldn’t take much; a lingering hand on my shoulder is enough to set my cheeks ablaze, and the mere thought of my fingers tangled in yours makes my heart pound. And if you hold me or, god forbid, touch your lips to mine-that’s when I am for sure a goner. I wouldn’t stand a chance.”
honestly, the best example of the mandela effect is the line hufflepuffs are particularly good finders, becuase i could have SWORN that it was part of canon. before i got into starkid i somehow knew that line, and swear that i read it in the goblet of fire or on pottermore or something, but i’ve read through everything possible and its just not there. ever.
there is this girl in my chorus class, and shes like a really weird harry potter purist, who at the mention of avpm told me that it ruined both harry potter and musicals (i don’t know either), and she refused to watch a minute of it. but when i said i was a hufflepuff what was the first thing she said?
HUFFLEPUFFS ARE PARTICULARLY GOOD FINDERS
I asked about it, and she told me she swore she read it in one of the books. when i told her it wasn’t, she was completely shocked and googled the line, and was shook when all that came up was avpm stuff. she told me she had never seen the gif before either.
in conclusion, everyone managed to learn this line and no one knows what happened. thank you for coming to my TED talk
